I know! A big shocker for most people, right? I've been a not-so-well closeted obsessive, insanely, over-the-edge, mad, deranged, and so on, Harry Potter fan since '99. Even before the movies came out, I've been a ginormous fan already. I'm a regular visitor of TLC
[http://the-leaky-cauldron.org] since its first conception. I'm truly amazed at the time and effort the people involved put into the site. Since I'm currently along the line of being brutally honest; my utter attachment with all things HP have -not- wavered since 1999. I'm now 18 and I thought it'll eventually die down, but it just got worse... or better, depending on how you prefer to look at it. I was in complete awe when I found out that they've released a Podcast for the slowly getting even more barking mad fans of HP for their not-so-impatient 'waiting' for the upcoming movies and the LAST book, among the countless of other categories for fans. Personally, PotterCast has kept and is keeping me RELATIVELY sane. Since only a *FEW* of my friends are Harry Potter fans, much less Harry Potter fanatics like me, I had to find a way to channel my interest other than visiting the sites more than too often. By listening to these Podcasts, not only do I immerse myself completely in all things Harry but I'm also constantly amused in otherwise bland and totally dragging activities such as commuting or walking along the corridors or streets, resting my eyes or while taking a bath [though this one's not bland or dragging AT ALL!
Oya! I'm finally coming out of my shell. Admittedly, I've been trying to have a low-profile in terms of this sheer, unexplainable obsession but I guess it's time that I just chuck my so-called embarrassment(?) if you can even call it that, under the rug! So here it is, one of the few things that keep me babble-FREE from HP things whenever you talk to me. Though I can't promise you people anything. After all, even one of my phone's wallpaper, pillows, and one of my room posters is Harry! Harharhar. I'm going nuts. Even if you guys aren't avid fans of HP or the movies, this particular bunch of people will surely crack you up. No doubts about that. I know, I've been looked upon as an oddity while riding the train due to my incapacity to contain my facial reactions and uncontrollable laughter. Take the time to subscribe! If you don't have an iPod, that wouldn't be a problem, either. You can listen to the Podcasts through the player you can find in this post if you scroll down. Trust ME, I don't exactly delve into anything that is a complete waste of time. Even if you aren't avid fans of HP like me, as long as you're at least familiar with it, you're all set! The Podcasts have everything for everyone. These people certainly know what they're talking about. Go ahead and sink into these Ear Candies; you might actually, FINALLY, understand and see why the Queen of Dorks and dorkiness [ME!], is completely hooked. ;D
